These terms are a binding agreement between you and Dhun. If you do not accept them, do not install or use Dhun. By installing the app, creating an account or buying a plan, you accept these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy.
What Dhun is
Dhun shows YouTube on an Android Auto car screen and processes its sound. Dhun is an independent app. It is not made, endorsed or supported by YouTube, Google or Android Auto, or by any car maker. Their names belong to their owners.
Where to get it
Dhun is not on the Google Play Store. It is available only from dhun.me through Dhun Installer. You choose to install it from outside the Play Store and to change the settings this needs on your phone and in Android Auto, at your own risk. Copies from anywhere else are not ours. Do not use them.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law. You must give true details, and you are responsible for everything done through your account.
One account, one person
Your account and plan are personal. You must not share, sell or rent them, or use one account on more than one device at the same time. To protect accounts we use location as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end accounts that break this rule.
Plans and payment
- Dhun needs an active plan to work on your car screen. The price and duration are shown before you pay.
- Plans are paid once and do not renew automatically.
- When a plan ends, or is cancelled under these terms, Dhun stops working on your car screen, including during a trip.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay. Prices may change, but a change does not affect a plan you already bought.
- Coupons can be withdrawn at any time, have no cash value, and can be used once per user.
- Refunds are covered only by our Refund Policy.
Safe driving
You are always responsible for driving safely and obeying traffic law. Do not watch video or operate Dhun in any way that distracts you while the car is moving. Watch video only when parked. Loud sound can damage your hearing and your car's speakers, so use it with care. We are not responsible for accidents, injuries, fines or damage linked to how you use Dhun.
YouTube and other services
Dhun depends on YouTube, Android Auto and your phone, none of which we control. They may change or stop working with Dhun at any time, without notice. Such a change does not entitle you to a refund. You are responsible for following their terms, for the content you watch, and for your own data charges.
Updates
We may release updates and may require you to install them to keep using Dhun. Features may be added, changed or removed.
What you must not do
- Copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell Dhun, or bypass its plan or security checks.
- Use fake details, or stolen or disputed payment methods.
- Use Dhun for anything illegal, or to harm Dhun or other people.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close your account, without refund, if you break these terms, misuse Dhun or commit fraud. You may stop using Dhun at any time.
No warranty
Dhun is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will work on every phone or car, be uninterrupted or be free of errors. Check that it works with your car before you buy a plan.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost data, lost profit, or damage to your phone or car. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for your current plan.
Indemnity
You agree to cover losses and costs we face because you broke these terms or the law.
Your legal rights
Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot be excluded under Indian law, including consumer protection law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please write to us first so we can try to settle any dispute. If it is not settled, it will be decided by the competent courts in India.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date above, and using Dhun after a change means you accept it.
